Club Girlstart is an educational outreach program which encourages girls to believe in themselves, pursue paths to higher education and discover greater career opportunities. Club Girlstart’s curriculum enhances girls’ STEM learning through relatable, fun, hands-on and comprehensive activities in an all-girl, informal environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead after-school curriculum focused on science, technology, engineering and math (curriculum provided by Girlstart)
- Implement and run engaging icebreakers
- Learn and implement the Girlstart method within ALL program activities
- Maintain program attendance and evaluation information
- Act as Girlstart liaison to club girls
- Responsible for clean up after lessons
- Facilitate classroom management techniques
- Act as a positive role model for girls
- Provide feedback to Program Director

Program leaders most commit to work approximately 2 hours a week to lead one after school program. Programs are held at respective schools in Central Texas and are available Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs immediately after school (typically 3:00-4:00pm).
