Kick off the school year at Girlstart’s Back to School STEM Saturday! Get excited about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) with hands-on activities for the whole family at the Girlstart STEM Center (Austin, TX) anytime between 9:30am and Noon. This event is FREE (RSVP suggested), and all our labs will be open with live demos and hands-on STEM including:
- Satellite Launchers
- Ooey Gooey Slime
- Balloon Boats
- Stomp Rockets
- Gravity Planes
- Virtual & Augmented Reality Experiences
- Mini-Planetarium Star Shows
- And More!
Additionally, all attendees will receive a free solar viewer to watch the solar eclipse on August 21st!
Reminder: Chaperones are required. Adults must stay with their children throughout the event.
