EarthX in Dallas
Join Girlstart from April 20th-22nd at Earthx, the world’s largest environmental experience! The weekend-long event will take place from 10 AM to 6 PM in Fair Park, Dallas and features activities and programs focused on environmental awareness. TASSCC Funds Scholarships for Girlstart
Texas Association of State Systems for Computing and Communication (TASSCC) is a statewide organization that supports networking and professional development in the IT public sector. On April 6th TASSCC hosted an annual Technology Education Conference here in Austin. The proceeds contributed toward 20 Girlstart summer camp scholarships! Thank you, TASSCC, for encouraging STEM education for young women!
Annual Game Changers Luncheon
Girlstart’s Annual Game Changers Luncheons help raise funds for many of our activities and initiatives around our After School Program. Girlstart After School has brought award-winning informal STEM education to more than 2,000 girls in 69 schools throughout Texas. The luncheons are a unique way of celebrating women in STEM and the contributions they’ve made to our organization and beyond!
Girlstar hosts two Annual Game Changers Luncheons, one in Houston and one in Austin. They will feature presentations by various keynote speakers who have made significant contributions to advancing female representation in science and technology.
