Christina Self
Christina serves as the Secretary for Girlstart. She chairs the Audit Committee, where she leads the internal audit efforts for the company and is a member of the Governance Committee. Christina started her career as an IT Consultant with Arthur Andersen. Afterwards, she worked for KPMG where she led numerous client engagements to provide various risk advisory services and internal/external IT audits for Fortune 500 clients. She also led the Oracle and SAP implementation reviews, data conversion projects and upgrades.
Christina is on the board for Pitch Your Peers – Chicago, a grant-giving charitable organization that identifies unmet needs in the community and provides grants to nonprofits for impactful change in Cook County. She serves on the Woman’s Board for the Winnetka Community House and is a Board of Trustee for North Shore Country Day School. Christina holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California.
