Kelsey Holtzman

Kelsey is Girlstart’s Director of Programs. She oversees the overall strategic planning and implementation of all of our national programs and supports the program team as they make the work happen. She has a BA in Mass Communication from Boston University and a Masters degree in Acting from the New School for Drama. With a passion for empowering young people, Kelsey’s experience spans multiple areas of the nonprofit world. Prior to moving back to her home state of Texas, she spent six years working in arts education, managing creative programs in schools all over the New York area. During her free time, Kelsey enjoys cooking, exploring Austin and spending time with her husband, daughter and dog!
