Made With Code

Thank you Google & the National Park Foundation

Experience the beauty of code by lighting up a holiday tree in President’s Park. Google has partnered with the National Park Foundation to give girls an opportunity to code holiday lights for the annual tree lighting ceremony.

Go to madewithcode.com and use blockley, an introductory programming language, to code Christmas lights, a snowflake, or even a yeti. If you choose to code lights, your work will be displayed on your state or territory’s tree throughout the month of December.

Made with Code is an initiative designed to show girls (and all kids) the fun and creative things you can do with computer science.
