Girlstart’s Discovery Green STEM Saturday initiative includes fun hands-on STEM activities that foster general awareness about STEM and encourage children and families to recognize that ‘STEM is everywhere.’

Can you create a flying device that floats in the air? Explore the forces of buoyancy, aerodynamic lift, and gravity so that your plane sinks at a slow rate, then hovers in place. Test your device in a giant wind tunnel!
