ANNUAL REPORT 2019
We’re excited for another great year of STEM education for girls! As you know, that’s all that we do: high-quality STEM education programs that meet girls where they are, and encourage them to build skills and interest in STEM.
We are grateful that we are able to reach more girls (year-round in 3 states, and summertime in 8 states) thanks to you. None of Girlstart’s work would be possible without you.
We are working on new programs, as well! Our STEM Extravaganza program can travel anywhere, to anyone. And, our soon-to-be-released STEM at Work program can help our corporate partners host STEMfriendly events at their corporate locations.
We can’t do this work without dedicated volunteers. We are grateful to everyone who makes Girlstart possible–especially YOU!

Legacy Society
We’re proud to make a lasting impact on the lives of girls we serve, as well as the alumnae we have already inspired. There are millions of girls that we have not reached, yet. But with your help, we can build a strong future for Girlstart girls.
Because we know that you are part of our family, we want to ask you to think about Girlstart’s future. Who are the Girlstart girls of 2049? 2089? The 22nd century? By dedicating part of your lasting legacy to Girlstart, you have the opportunity to shape the lives of tomorrow’s Girlstart girls.
Making a bequest to Girlstart in your Will is one way to ensure that Girlstart will be able to reach girls for generations to come. There are, however, many other options and opportunities for you to design how your legacy helps Girlstart’s future, and we would be honored to help you with those ideas.
We thank you for helping us inspire the brave, creative girls of tomorrow!
For more information about establishing a legacy with Girlstart, contact legacy@girlstart.org.
“We need to be investing in building the pipeline of women in STEM fields and it starts in elementary school. Girlstart’s programming has PROVEN results and instills not only the educational foundation, but also — and equally important — the confidence to pursue advanced math and science coursework and ultimately STEM careers.”
