Moon Observation Saturday – Full Moon

December 18, 2021

Event Navigation

Full Moon

Happy Moon Observation Saturday! Did you know that there will be a full moon outside tonight? That’s right! On Saturday, December 18th, the Moon will be in its “full moon” phase. The full moon phase happens when the Moon appears to be completely illuminated by the Sun. A full moon happens once per month when the Earth is exactly between the Sun and the Moon.

Continue to keep track of Moon phases using your Moon Observation Journal, and be sure to head outside tonight to check out the full moon!

DPR Construction – Willis Tower Model
