Celebrate computer science everywhere! Participate in the Hour of Code™ 2021 with Girlstart as part of Computer Science Education Week! The Hour of Code™ is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics.

Spend an hour (or more!) learning to code with blocks, JavaScript, or Python by following the Hour of Code™ activities listed below:

For grades 2+: Use blocks to code a meditation breathing app.

Hour of Code DeSTEMber 2021

For grades 6+: Use JavaScript to code a climate clock and write a message of hope for the future.

For grades 2+: Use Python to help a cute baby monkey get bananas.
