Girlstart’s Discovery Green STEM Saturday initiative includes fun hands-on STEM activities that foster general awareness about STEM and encourage children and families to recognize that ‘STEM is everywhere.’

June 16: Bouncing Balloons
Have you ever thought about who designs basketballs, baseballs, or volleyballs? Sports engineers do! Create a super bouncy ball out of a balloon, rice, and paper clips; then test your balloon to see how high it can go!
