Eden Full Goh is a solar energy engineer and product developer who turned a science fair project into a nonprofit organization! A daughter of brave refugees, Eden is proud to be Chinese-Canadian, born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. She attended Princeton University and received the prestigious Thiel Fellowship, which allowed her to develop the SunSaluter: a solar panel rotator that uses gravity and a water clock for power. This revolutionary device allows a solar panel to follow the Sun throughout the day and boosts its energy output by 30%. The SunSaluter produces four liters of clean drinking water, is 30 times less expensive than motorized solar panels, and has been deployed all around the world! Eden’s invention (and SunSaluter nonprofit organization) has been honored by Forbes’ 30 Under 30, MIT Climate CoLab’s Grand Prize, the Westlet Prize, Mashable/UN Foundation Startups for Social Good Challenge, and the Postcode Lottery Green Challenge. Eden now lives in New York City and is the CEO and Founder of Mobot, a mobile app testing service powered by supervised, mechanical robots.
