Event Navigation
For this activity, your learners are a team of robotics engineers designing a rover to explore the surface of another planet. Your learners’ job is to build and test a prototype of a scooping arm for the rover that will bring soil samples to Earth. Once you’ve completed this experiment, choose another space scientist or explore careers in different fields, from physics to biology to engineering! All activities are geared towards youth in grades 2 – 6 and encourage learners to practice scientific techniques while exploring big ideas, as they solve real-world problems.
