Constellation Crafting

This activity allows students to learn about the stars in our universe! All you need are pipe cleaners and beads to craft.

First research a constellation and learn all about it! Some questions to think about are: how many stars are in the constellation, how far away is it from Earth, what season would it be visible to us in the night sky? Then, find an image of the constellation and use pipe cleaners to connect clusters and beads to represent the stars create the constellation!
