What is your favorite thing about your career? I love that I have the opportunity to work with brilliant, creative colleagues towards solving impactful challenges that will allow humans to explore other planets and environments.  I feel like I’m making a positive impact on the world, on human knowledge, and I get to have fun and learn new things.

What is one piece of advice that you would tell someone who is interested in pursuing your career? To be a scientist, you don’t have to have perfect grades. We all find certain concepts challenging and confusing, sometimes. But view your weaknesses as an opportunity to improve.
