Girls currently in 4th-5th & 6th-8th grades will discover the fun side of STEM careers at this unique annual conference just for them. The day is packed with three hands-on workshops led by women in science, technology, engineering, and math fields. Separate workshops are provided by grade level (4th-5th and 6th-8th).

Join Girlstart before the Halloween Children's Concert to discover blood components with slime, investigate the anatomy of spiders, create an LED costume charm, and more. Your little ghoul will have a blast exploring frightfully fun STEM concepts just in time for Halloween!
This annual luncheon event raises critical funds to support Girlstart’s nationally recognized programs, which reach thousands of girls in Texas and across the country. Luncheon guests will be immersed in Girlstart’s work firsthand, hear from our new Executive Director, and network with others who share a passion for girls in STEM.
