Summer Camp Drop Off
Girlstart summer camps are one week long, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm each day.
Drop-off for all campers is anytime between 8:00-8:30am. We require a parent, or authorized adult, to sign in their camper on Monday mornings to complete the first-day paperwork process. To be mindful of your family’s time, an adult is not required to walk in to drop off campers Tuesday-Friday mornings, however, you are more than welcome to walk your daughter in each morning if that makes you more comfortable.
Parking is available in Girlstart’s private lot, on the street, or at Redeemer Lutheran across the street. We are grateful to our neighbors for allowing us to use these spaces; please be kind to their landscaping and walk around the flower beds.
Summer Camp Pick Up
Pick up for all campers is anytime between 4:30pm-5:00pm.
A parent–or authorized adult’s–Photo ID is required for camper pick up every day. The safety of our campers is vital to us and there are no exceptions to this policy.
Camper Lunch and Snacks
Girls should bring a sack lunch daily. Microwaves and refrigerators are not available for camper use. Girlstart provides a morning and afternoon snack. Your daughter is welcome to bring her own snacks if she has dietary restrictions.
Behavior Agreement
Behavior agreements will be due the first day of camp in order to complete your daughter’s registration. Girlstart’s 2024 Behavior Agreement form can be found here. You are welcome to submit your signed behavior agreement at any time through the supplemental forms page of your online parent account, or by email or fax. If your daughter is attending multiple weeks of camp, the behavior agreement form only needs to be submitted once per summer by the first Monday of her first week of camp.

Immunization Records
Girlstart’s immunization policy is in alignment with the Texas Department of State Health Service’s requirements for day camps. For a complete list of required vaccinations, please visit http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/immunize/school/.
Girlstart does respect diverse perspectives about vaccination. However, we would appreciate receiving information concerning your family’s exception prior to the first day of camp. For further details, please consult http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/immunize/school/#exclusions. Thank you for your understanding as we maintain a safe and healthy environment for all girls joining us for Summer Camp.
If your camper attended Girlstart Summer Camp in the past, immunization records must be resubmitted. Please indicate the camp(s) your daughter is registered for on the records when uploading and submitting online, emailing, or faxing. If your daughter is attending multiple weeks of camp, immunization records only need to be submitted once per summer by the first Monday of her first week of camp.

Additional Camp Forms
Additional camp forms, including Approved Alternative Adult Pick Up and Medication Release forms, can be submitted online through your parent account, emailed, or faxed before camp, or returned anytime during your daughter’s camp week as necessary.
Camp Cost
The full price is $450 per camp. Registration closes for all camps on Friday, May 24, 2024.

It pays to register for multiple themes with Girlstart’s Multi-Week Discount! Starting March 1st, 2024:
- Receive $50 off if you register for two themes.
- Receive $100 off if you register for three themes!
Cancellation Policy
Camp fees include a $50 non-refundable fee. Refunds are given in the event of cancellations before May 24, 2024. Camps that do not fill are subject to cancellation and a full refund. This policy applies to paying in full or using the payment plan.
