Caitlyn Shields

Caitlyn Shields is a Central Texas Program Coordinator at Girlstart. In this role she supports the After School and Summer Camp programs for 4th-8th grade girls in the greater Austin area. Caitlyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin in 2021. Caitlyn previously served as Girlstart’s Program Associate, and also served on STEM CREW, leading After School and Summer Camp programs in central Texas. Before joining the full-time staff, Caitlyn served Girlstart as a Program Assistant, helping the program team run After School in both central Texas and satellite regions. In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies, reading and tending to her herb garden.
